Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
